Old Hotel with reasonable price
very close to MTR station, excellent rate, easy access to CBD area

The hotel was barely maintained in a fair condition. The room was a bit smelly. The bed sheet and the towel were old and not comfortable. No wifi connection in the room but the hotel provide computer with internet at the hotel lobby without charge. The hotel is extremely close to MTR station with just 1 minute walking distance. Solely for the advantage, I think the hotel is still good for budget travelers.

Comfortable and great location

It was not the cheapest hotel available, but for the location and the amount you paid, it was good and the room that was offered to us initially reeks of cigarettes after which we requested for a change which the staff offered to us with no hesitation. Would be better if there are wifi in the room.

The whole stay in this hotel is average.
First, the MRT is very near. It is right in front of the hotel. Second, I love the cleaning lady who although cannot understand english is very approchable and always smiling.

On our first day in staying in this hotel, We have some trouble with our reservation because even though I paid for an extra be, they don't have it. My sister and I had to share 1 bed for a night before they were able to provide the extra bed. The breakfast is not to our liking also. for the 3 days that we stayed in this hotel, the menu for the breakfast are the same.

the hotel is located in the middle of the city. it is near subway station "hanzhong road". from the exit no.2, when you go out, you will find the hotel in front of you. the room decoration is basically fine. breakfast is simply fine. the staff is quite welcome. the hotel's surrouding is so quiet. no restaurants nearby. you need to take a subway to people's square for shopping & eating.

I have stayed in Rhea for most of my business trips to Shanghai for the main reason that it is right next to the Hanzhong lu subway line 1 and the room has very stable and free internet usage. The rooms are definitely big enough for a comfortable stay and for the price paid, it is very value for money.
