Newish Hotel - Mainly Russian Guests

This is quite a new hotel and is clean and modern as you would expect. Rooms are reasonably large with a nice balcony which in our case overlooked the pool and had a sea view (although the sea is some distance away). The location is a fair walk down to the beach area - a complimentary drop off service to beach area is available but only until 5pm and after that you will need to flag down a tuk tuk which will cost you 200 Thb, the minimum price in Phuket even for a very short distance. So - unless you mind a walk (and it is a little hilly and the road is unlit in places) be prepared to pay out for the tuk tuk prices. The staff were very unhelpful when I asked them to call me a taxi one evening and said they were not really available and to wait by the road for a tuk tuk. This is OK but you may wait 2 minutes or 20 minutes depending on your luck. The hotel itself is quite nice and spacious. Internet room (chargeable) available, but good if you have no lap-top and very nice swimming pool. It seems that the hotel is mainly frequented by Russians and Chinese but this did not really cause us any issues.
Nightlife Tip:
Some nice little bars and restaurants - head around by the Temple area of Karon Beach (just back slightly from the main beach road).

Nice hotel with good rooms. Quiet area

Was "upgraded" to pool access room. Had asked for high floor to get good sea view but ended up on low floor with almost no sea view. The pool access was very nice though so ended up being happy with it. Very good room with nice big bathroom. Breakfast is fine here. A lot to choose from. Should be something for every one. Not much sea view. Hard to get a smile out of some of the receptionist but there was also smiling staff. Some seemed like they were tired of guests. Expensive internet. Very few and strange choice of TV channels. Was pretty clear that main customers are Russians and Koreans. Placed in quiet area of Karon. A bit far away from beach but had free shuttle service to beach.

We stayed for a week and though it is a huge hotel, we felt like there werent that many people there. The staff were very attentive to all our needs. The breakfast, which was included in the cost of the room, was plentiful and delicious. The location was just that far enough out of the hub, to be quiet. The shuttle run between the hotel and their sister hotel down by the beach was fabulous.
Restaurant Tip:
On the Beach at Karon Beach and also Two Chefs were to really nice restaurants located nearby the hotel that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Lovely Hotel and Horrible and arrogant staff

Hotel is been over-rated.Front Office Staff were very arrogant with no welcoming behavious. Never like to speak or consult with the office staff coz they speak very arrogant without making us feel homelike, though the Hotel infrastructure was good.
I will not like to recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. I will rate this Hotel as 2** instead of 4**. Moreover I can say, 2** hotel staff is more better than this Hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
" Handle with Care" this is a Tagline for this Hotel, you will never know what you want and what you will get in your hand, I mean if you open the door, maybe the handle will be in your hand. I will not like to recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. Hotel is been over-rated, I will rate this Hotel as 1* or 2** hotel instead of 4**. Moreover I can say, 2** hotel staff is more better than this Hotel.

great family resort! the location is quiet with main karon about 5 mins down the hill, although the walk up not so great! beautiful views over the ocean! rooms were nice and very roomy! clean and tidy! staff sometimes happy to please! buffet breakfast was very boring and had no bacon unless u asked! about 300-400 baht for taxi to patong! seemed to be a pain to ask for the courtesy bus to take u to karon!

nice hotel, but staff are not friendly

Room was spacious and we can see the good seaview. The location was not very good. We took taxi to anywhere we wanted. We had tried once to walk to the Karon beach area to have a dinner and it took us 20 mins. The road was dark and had plenty cars. Staff was not very friendly as I had ever seen in Thai hotels.
Nightlife Tip:
If you like nightlife, it will not be your choice.

"Very ordinery hotel with untrianed receiptions"

generally i did not like my stay in this hotel.
the receptions could speak very poor english, poor relationship and kind of indifference to client requirements. for example drinking a hot tea in our room was like a wish during our stay. the kettle was out of order, they send somebody to repair but again not work properly. they should have changed it, it was broken out!
besides, the building walls and construction was too poor that we woke up at midnight by somebody walking or talking in the top floor or beside room!

a good hotel to stay if you preferred a place to stay away from crowded yet walking distance to the karon beach. restaurant & bar along the way to the beach.
room is clean, bright & bed is big! swimming pool located in the difference block, not so convenience for me; nice food & friendly staff when i requested for special meal (i'm vegetarian):)
it's a good choice for a stay for "breakaway" vacation like me
